"The details are not the details. They make the design.”
Charles Eames
I am constantly sourcing and scouring the market for the most interesting finds I can present to a client. I love to be ahead of a trend and source from artists and artisans that have a true talent in creating beautiful things. Creating an interesting piece and yet staying classic is a gift and if I come across both I like to share it with others not only to promote the artist but to share good design.
Individual choices combined over time and attention to detail make a room whole. A kitchen with a solid brass faucet with fine carved detailing, a sculpture that is both textural and simplistic, and or a mid century modern furniture piece that is covered in a new plush textile are all things I admire and love to incorporate in projects.
What’s even more thrilling is placing these pieces in a cohesive manner about a space so as to compliment and finish out a room. I believe in having fewer things and only choosing items that inspire and add beauty and craftsmanship.
